May Day!

My grandma taught me a May Day tradition. On May 1st, we would gather some pretty flowers and leave them on a neighbors door. So I thought that I would enjoy this tradition with Tess. One day when the girls were napping (at the same time...miracle) I felt crafty so I created a little May Day flower arrangement. So this afternoon Tess and I ran across the street in the rain, left the flowers on my neighbors door, Tess pushed her doorbell and we ran back home giggling. It was a fun adventure for us and it made my neighbor smile!! Do you know your neighbors??? I encourage you to get to know yours..... I once read somewhere that people who know there neighbors usually feel safer and are happier. I know this is true for me!! =)
